Since my tonsils have been taken out it literally hurts to swallow anything, including my own saliva. The pain meds help somewhat, but only enough to put me asleep so I can get some rest. The worst part? I need to have food in my stomach in order to take the pain meds. They gave me numbing stuff for my throat, but that only works for about five seconds. Oh! But there’s anti nausea pills too! Wait, I have to eat before then too? So no matter what I’m either hungry, in pain, or sick to my stomach. Fun recovery days. BUT. THE BEST. DAMN. PART. Is the food cravings I’ve been having… earlier today I craved food from my high school’s cafeteria. The other day it was Cane’s, and the day before that it was Cinnabon’s and funnel cakes and a burger on a pretzel bun. OH AND WAFFLES WITH NUTELLA AND SYRUP. AHHHHH I CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE I WANT FOOD NOWWWWW.
